Activities on the Trail: Fun for all.

St. Barthelemy Elementary in Ayer's Cliff went biking on the trail to
km. 15. They saw many turtles, Canada Geese, and one deer.

Fall Bike Ride

Grades 5 & 6


On Oct. 6 Grades 5 & 6 left Sunnyside for
a half day adventure on the bike trails behind
Sunnyside, We started our tour with a lecture on safe biking
and a check to see that everyone was equipped
with a helmet. We traveled through some of the best scenery
anywhere. Does anyplace beat The Townships?
We don't think so!

We traveled through Beebe and even past
Tomifobia. We ate our lunch at the monument to
the train crash of 1895. We even saw the very
rock that caused the crash.
We took this opportunity to rest our legs and
our sore rear ends before we started on our
journey home.
Some of us even had time to blow bubbles.
Sometimes even the best of the bike riders
fall off their bikes. Fortunately we had nice,
soft landing pads.

All in all we had a marvelous time and we need
to thank Mrs. Lemay for organizing this great
Phys. Ed. activity.
